Jack Edwards doubles down on one of his most controversial comments ever
Jack Edwards sparked outrage this year, by making fun of Stanley Cup champion, Pat Maroon. Controversy however isn't a stranger to the announcer as that wasn't the first time.
Years ago, Edwards had remarks about another NHL player, back in 2019 during the Dallas Stars and Boston Bruins game.
Recently Cam and Strick had Jack Edwards on their show to go into detail about that terrible call years ago which he called Roman Polak being taken off the ice in a stretcher "Hockey Karma".
Jack Edwards had a chance on the podcast to apologize for his statement years ago and instead of doing the right thing he doubles down. The Boston Bruins still employ him despite his the majority of his prime was spent on ESPN in the 90s. There's a reason he's unpopular and in my opinion the worst NHL announcer in the game today.
