Jason Robertson and the Dallas Stars agree on a multi-year deal
The Dallas Stars and Jason Robertson had been locked in a stalemate all summer. It appeared neither party was willing to blink as the two sides tried to work towards a new contact. After putting up 41 goals last season Robertson was looking to get paid.
Unfortunately for Robertson it appeared that Stars ownership wasn't interested in coughing up big money for one productive season. Up until now it appeared this situation would leak into the regular season, but luckily that's not the case.
After midnight last night news broke the two parties had reached an agreement.
**Breaking News** 🚨 📰
Dallas stars sign F Jason Robertson to a 4Yr Contract Extension 7.75M AAV.
Robertson is unlikely to get into any preseason games but should be ready for the first game of the season.
