The Saddledome has been one of the loudest buildings in the NHL this post season and that's not surprising. The passion exuded by Flames' fans is consistently on display at every opportunity. Last night was absolutely no different.

Less than a minute into the game it appeared as though Johnny Gaudreau had been sprung on a breakaway, but the play was blown dead for offside. Everyone on the ice heard the whistle except for Johnny Gaudreau. Gaudreau continued towards the net and even fired a shot into the net past a stunned Jake Oettinger.

This action clearly upset the Stars and Oettinger specifically. A scrum broke out after the play and Matthew Tkachuk ultimately broke away with John Klingberg. On the play Klingberg was given 2-minutes for roughing while Tkachuk received 2-minutes of his own for cross checking.
The Stars went on to win 2-0 and tie this series at 1 game a piece.
