Jon Cooper has encouraging words for one Ranger player in handshake line
A video with clear audio that surfaced recently shows Jon Cooper speaking a highly encouraging commendation for the young New York Ranger, K'Andre Miller.
In the video, Cooper can be heard repeating «you're a hell of a player» while also praising Miller's range as a player, and encouraging him to keep improving.
Miller, at only 22 years old, had an incredible playoff run with the Rangers, posting only 7 points in 20 games, but providing a solidifying presence on the Rangers' back end.
Primarily paired with Jacob Trouba, Miller will has potential to be a force in the league as a top-4 defender for years to come. Along with the other young Rangers' players, New York fans have plenty reasons to be optimistic they will be back in the late stages of the playoffs again in short order.
