Jon Cooper makes another excuse for his team's poor performance
The Tampa Bay Lightning are currently trailing the Stanley Cup Finals against the Colorado Avalanche. The first 2 games of the series were all Colorado. When the series shifted back to Tampa Bay the Lightning appeared to return to form but only enough to take a split of the 2 games.
With the series now 3-1 in favour of the Avalanche, the series shifts back to Colorado. Tonight's Game 5 will either decide the Cup or shift the series back to Tampa Bay.
But many fans wondered how the Lightning will react to another game in Colorado and Jon Cooper offered up the following excuse for his team's play.
Jon Cooper says the altitude hurt Lightning last time in Denver. First time they've used that excuse.
Well hopefully Cooper realizes the altitude will still be a challenge because there will be no more chances for the Lightning.
