Major injury will force the Chicago Blackhawks to change their Trade Deadline plans
Heading into this year's Trade Deadline, Patrick Kane was expected to be this year's biggest trade chip. But given the most recent news it appears multiple teams have been scared off of the Hawks star.
According to Arthur Staple of The Athletic, practically the entire league knows that Kane needs surgery, take a look:

Staple then continued by saying that if Kane doesn't do the right thing, it could hurt him going into next summer.
If he doesn't shut down the season and get surgery soon to be ready for free agency and 2023-24, he's going to be damaged goods.
Kane, 34, still has decent numbers for the Chicago Blackhawks this season, registering 9 goals and 25 assists for 34 points in 45 games.
One can't help but wonder if his hip is the most significant issue hampering his production.thjs year. Hopefully for both the Blackhawks and Kane's sake, he makes the right choice.
If the the entire NHL knows he's playing hurt, all he's doing is making himself a less marketable asset. That will not only hurt Kane, but the return for the Blackhawks as well.
According to Elliotte Friedman, multiple players at the All-Star game shared that it's clear Kane is gutting it out trying to play through a serious injuries.
