Marcus Johansson forced to leave game after dangerously high hit from Aaron Ekblad
The Panthers and Wild game is getting scrappy after Marcus Johansson hits Aaron Ekblad.
During the Florida Panthers and Minnesota Wild game, Aaron Ekblad received a penalty for a dirty hit to the head of Minnesota Wild winger Marcus Johansson.
The incident happened with only 1:12 left in the second period, with the Wild leading 4-2.
As you can see, Ekblad uses his elbow and leads the hit into Johansson's head as a point of contact.
Ekblad was assessed a minor penalty for elbowing Johansson, but it's unknown if there will be any further disciplinary action.
The Wild went on to are currently leading the game 5-2 in the 3rd period.
Seems like the referees are drunk again on the ice.
