Mason Geertsen and Josh Brown submit an early Tilt of the Night candidate
You always want to make a good first impression with your new team and that's exactly what Josh Brown tried to do tonight for the Boston Bruins. After being traded from the Ottawa Senators to the Bruins on March 21st, Brown hadn't had the opportunity to get into the lineup, until tonight.
It only took Brown 2 minutes and 56 seconds of the 1st period to try and make his mark. He did that by dropping the gloves with New Jerseys' Mason Geersten. The two shared a solid back and fourth tilt before finally being separated by the linesmen.
It was clear Brown's new teammates appreciated the effort. Both men were issued 5-minute majors on the play.
