Multiple players claimed off of waivers yesterday
Yesterday was the final day for NHL teams to place players on waivers ahead of Tuesday's roster deadline. 30+ players were placed on waivers and teams had the options of selecting players to finalize their rosters.
Today it's been announced the following players have been claimed.
#NHL waiver claims (Oct. 10): Josh Mahura (FLA), Connor Ingram (ARI), Jarred Tinordi (CHI), Axel Jonsson-Fjallby (WPG), Brett Leason (ANA).
So #caps lose two guys off waivers - Leason and Jonsson-Fjallby.

Despite rumors circulating around Philadelphia the team opted to NOT claim either Nick Foligno or Wayne Simmonds.
Today only one player was placed on waivers.
Glenn Gawdin (ANA) is the only player placed on NHL waivers today.
