The Ottawa Senators are taking on the Minnesota Wild at the Canadian Tire Centre tonight and it didn't take long for tempers to flair and hostility's to be exchanged.
First, Austin Watson and Brandon Duhaime drop the gloves just 8 seconds into the contest. Both Watson and Duhaime land some solid shots in a very good tilt.
Then , Matt Dumba lays out Tim Stutzle and Brady Tkachuk Jumps to the young stars defence. In what can only be described as bit of a nothing fight after landing the first few shots as Tkachuk loses his balance. Just over 5 minutes after the first scrap.
Ottawa is an exciting young team that will stand up for their young players and stars alike no matter what the situation is. Coach D.J Smith along with management have been doing a great job at building a culture indicative of old time hockey.
In a few years the Sens are going to be the team to watch and I for one am really excited to see this young team continue to galvanize and grow with each other.
