On the play Kuznetsov only received a 2 minute minor for the play. But this morning the NHL Department of Player Safety announced that Kuznetsov will face a phone hearing for the play.
Washington's Evgeny Kuznetsov will have a hearing today for High-sticking Vancouver's Kyle Burroughs.
A phone hearing allows the NHL to suspend Kuznetsov for upto 4 games. Kuznetsov has never been suspended and is not considered a repeat offender.
