NHL legend absolutely rips Nazem Kadri on a podcast
When NHL legends talk, the general rule of thumb is you sit down and listen to What they have to say. One legend in particular is not a fan of newly signed Calgary Flame, Nazem Kadri.
On a recent episode of the the Cam&Strick podcast Brett Hull laid into Kadri. Hull didn't hold back. Have a listen below:
Like it's still crazy to me how there's idiots who still hit people from behind or or elbow people in the head. Like wh- are you stupid? God, like Kadri, you know, I don't know like he may have cost the Leafs the Stanley cup and he certainly screwed the Avalanche over the year before they won it last year. 'He did, with a hit on Faulk'. Like he keeps getting suspended for stupid things. I mean he's an idiot
Hull has never been one to hold his tongue and I hate to say this, but in this instance he might be right. Kadri has done a lot of stupid things that have cost the teams he's played for throughout his career games.
However, I do think as he ages he's gotten smarter and learned where the line is more and more as the seasons move along. There's a reason the Flames are paying him 7M a season. If they believed he was that much of a liability, you'd think he would be making less.
