Just yesterday, the Leafs took a big swing ahead of the trade deadline and acquired veteran two-way centre Ryan O'Reilly. He's known for his defensive play, playoff scoring, and leadership, but even a player like him makes mistakes.
In a pregame routine, O'Reilly showed how new he was to the Leafs when he sprayed his entire head with Biosteel instead of water. Quickly realizing he's soaked himself in a sticky energy drink, he looks around quickly before dousing himself with water.
The Leafs acquired O'Reilly and Noel Acciari last night in a three way trade with St. Louis and Minnesota, sending a number of draft picks as well as depth players in Adam Gaudette and Mikhail Abramov in return.
Hopefully, they can be a part of the solution to propel the Leafs past the first round, and onto a long playoff run.
