Nikita Kucherov finally has the opportunity to get back at Artemi Panarin
When the Columbus Blue Jackets swept the Tampa Bay Lightning, then Blue Jacket, Artemi Panarin took the chance to rub the victory in Nikita Kucherov's face. The two friends engaged in an awkward handshake line moment that has been replayed for two years now.
With Panarin now playing for the Rangers, there were many who wondered how Kucherov would react after the Lightning eliminated the blue shirts last night.
While many hoped Kucherov would give it back to Panarin, it appears that Kucherov took the high road. And why wouldn't he? After losing the series to the Blue Jackets, the Lightning have now win 11 straight series and are 4 wins away from a 3rd consecutive Stanley Cup.
