«I haven't got a contract offer.»
Did he wish his trade request was handled privately?
«No, I'm happy where I'm at right now.»
His main reason for changing his stance on being a Flame for life is the fact that he didn't get a contract offer from Calgary.
The way his trade request was handled was very public, given that his agent took to Twitter after a game in Toronto to state Zadorov's intention. Despite the way his trade request was handled Zadorov is happy that he's with the Canucks organization.
