PK Subban still wants to win a Stanley Cup, but not like you'd think
P.K. Subban has accumulated notoriety for his personality off the ice, compared to his many of his peers. As evidenced by the ESPN contract signed last year, the retired defenseman is quick to get back to work, as an analyst.
However, his goals don't just end at being an on-air personality for ESPN's brand of NHL broadcasting.
Subban who sat down with The Pivot Podcast expressed his desire to one day own an NHL team and to win a Stanley Cup as a Member of the Board, on the podcast he addressed many topics regarding his 13-year career in the NHL.
Seeing as Subban has dipped his toes into ownership of a sports team with the NWSL's Angel City FC, he already has experience in managing the day in and out of the role. With news of the Ottawa Senators being on sale, you can't help but think this is his next shot at winning a cup if it were to happen, and partnering with Ryan Reynolds, who already expressed interest in the team would be a pair the media would love in the NHL.
