The Columbus Blue Jackets took two huge losses in Finland to the Colorado Avalanche, continuing their losing streak. During their time in Finland, they had a practice that was covered by the Finnish "Kimantia" Podcast.

Patrik Laine was asked what was going on in their practice, as they were practicing the "dump-in" technique and Laine did his coach absolutely no favors with his reply.

They where wondering #CBJ   's practising drills. Columbus didn't shoot towards goal at all and just dumped the puck. They asked from Laine about what's going on with your practices and he said:

We have been wondering the same

It makes you wonder why they're losing and near the end of John Tortorella's tenure you could see the offense wane, as he lost the room after Pierre-Luc Dubois moved on from the team.

Brad Larsen was hired immediately after Tortorella left to go to ESPN as an analyst. Larsen's record was terrible, as expected in a rebuilding year however, they also 4th in most goals against the NHL last season, which is also BAD.

This little glimpse of Columbus' practice may offer insight into why the losing continues and why instead of shooting the puck, Laine was dumping in a puck.

Is Brad Larsen trying to get fired? It doesn't seem like he has the support even Bruce Boudreau has in Vancouver.
