Player is given a misconduct for incident involving a chicken nugget
In my time as a hockey fan I've seen some very strange things. But one thing I've never seen is a player ejected from a game because they shot a chicken nugget into the crowd. Well after today I can finally check that off the list.
During an early ECHL game today, a fan made the decision to throw a chicken nugget onto the ice. Instead of picking up the nugget and tossing it onto the bench, Kirill Tyutyayev made the decision to send the nugget back where it came from and shot it back into the stands.
At an early ECHL game kids, a chicken nugget was thrown on the ice. Kirill Tyutyayev shot it back into the crowd and was assessed a 10-minute misconduct 😳

This hilarious incident cost Tyutyayev a 10 minute misconduct, but definitely made him one of the highlights of the night.
