Seattle Kraken lose forward on waivers to Western Conference team
The Seattle Kraken placed 27-year-old Karson Kuhlman on waivers with intentions of sending him to the AHL. Yesterday, the Kraken claimed Eeli Tolvanen from the Nashville Predators and needed to create roster space. This season Kuhlman had played only 14 games for the Kraken, adding 1 goal and 2 assists.
Unfortunately for the Kuhlman was unable to clear waives and was claimed by another Western Conference team.
Kuhlman will report to the Jets on Wednesday. The Jets will mark the 3rd NHL team for Kuhlman after he was initially signed by the Boston Bruins. In his NHL career Kuhlman has played 114 career games and has scored 10 goals and 16 assists.
