Sidney Crosby throws a fit on the bench because things don't go his way
The Toronto Maple Leafs are visiting the Pittsburgh Penguins tonight and 40 seconds into the game Mitch Marner extended his point streak to 16 games with the a wide open breakaway off a horrid Penguins change. Here's the goal:
Let's just say, things didn't go according to plan for the home team to start the night and Sidney Crosby wasn't too happy about the opening shift of the game.
I get that it must be frustrating giving up a goal on the opening shift of the hockey game, especially at home, but, that level of frustration doesn't make sense this early in a hockey game.
Now, in saying this, Crosby is obviously dealing with something as he went to the locker room and is now back on the bench, but, this certainly doesn't help the narrative that he's a whiner when things don't go exactly the way he wants them too.
Crosby has gone to the dressing room again, for the second time in the opening period having only played 3:30
