In a recent poll, more than 6500 people voted which team they thought was the worst out of all 32 teams in the NHL. According to them, the Toronto Maple Leafs are considered the most hated team in the NHL followed by the New York Rangers and the Montreal Canadiens.
It's clearly obvious why Toronto, New York and Montreal got the top 3. Toronto fans keep saying it's their year and is quite annoying seeing as they haven't been able to get past the 1st round of Playoffs.
And lastly, the Canadiens fans are simply annoying because they constantly remind everyone about the 24 Stanley Cups. We get it, you were great when there were less teams in the league.
But one thing that also stands out with this poll is how the Top 3 worst teams, are actually, the top 3 biggest NHL franchises.
