Things get chippy after Logan Mailloux gets leveled by a surprising Toronto Maple Leafs player
There are certain members of a team that you make sure to keep your head up against. For the Toronto Maple Leafs that usually includes players like Ryan Reaves, Jake McCabe and Max Domi. Usually that list doesn't include Timothy Liljegren.
Tonight it seemed like Logan Mailloux took for granted just how physical the Leafs defender could be. As Mailloux attempts to bring the puck into the Leafs zone he's met by a huge hit by Liljegren. The hit sends Mailloux to the ice and he's not happy about it.
From there the game picked up from a physical perspective.
Despite the teams still likely on opposite ends of the standings, its great to see some hatred return to this rivalry.
