With Boudreau out, it looks like along with Horvat, another player may want out of the organization.
Thatcher Demko was once touted as the Vancouver Canucks #1 goalie and absolutely lived up to the role for two years. However, since then he's suffered 2 injuries and struggled to put up the numbers he once did, as he was 3-10-2 with a .883 SV% before being placed on the injured reserve for 6 weeks as of December 6th. His contract is easily moveable, as he is currently on a team-friendly deal until 2026 as well, so Allvin moving him for assets might not be a terrible idea if he can get prospects or picks for the goalie.
Elliot Friedman also reported that Demko may be on the block during the trade deadline, it may serve Demko and Canucks to part ways, as Demko never got the support he really needed in his time there.
