Tom Wilson and Kyle Clifford drop the gloves in a heavyweight tilt
After Tom Wilson ran into Jack Campbell in the 1st period, it seemed like only a matter of time before the situation would escalate. It took half of the second period, but Sheldon Keefe finally got one of his tough guys out against Tom Wilson.
With a face off in the Leafs' zone, Tom Wilson lined up next to Kyle Clifford and you could immediately tell that things were about to pickup. The Scotiabank Arena crowd was a buzz before either man even dropped the gloves.
The two men engaged in a lengthy tilt that Tom Wilson got the better of Clifford during.
