Toronto Maple Leafs defenseman cross checks his own teammate
Justin Holl has taken a lot flack this season for his lack of defensive awareness. His play at times leaves a lot to be desired, especially in his own zone. Most critics of Holl usually revolve around his hockey IQ and defensive awareness.
That lack of awareness was on full display tonight. During the second period while trying to clear out the front of his own net, Holl delivers a cross-check. The only problem with the cross-check was that Holl delivered it to his own teammate Denis Malgin.
The Maple Leafs went onto win the game 5-2 and Holl cross checking a teammate, while hilarious didn't impact the outcome of the game.
