The Vancouver Canucks season has been as expected when it comes to performance. They were predicted to be a team that doesn't make the playoffs and would be in the race for the top draft pick of this year's Entry Draft.
The Vancouver Canucks front office shared that the season is going to be yet even harder as one of their depth players that was on track to coming back, will have to miss the remainder of the season due to needing surgery.
Tanner Pearson has been out on LTIR since November 9th 2022 to help treat a hand injury he suffered while playing against the Montreal Canadiens in a 5-2 loss. Surgery was needed and he was expected back in the line-up after 4-6 weeks.
With the way the Canucks season is going, I think it's the right move as a team and as a player to take the time needed to come back next season at 100%.
