At the 7:00 mark of the 1st period, Nashville Predators' Michael McCarron squared off against Zach MacEwen of the Flyers. Both men dropped the gloves and engaged in a short title that MacEwen clearly got the better of McCarron in.


Both men were given 5-minute majors on the play.
This was MacEwen's 8th fight of the year and McCarron's 7th.
