Connor McDavid admits he hasn't been paid yet after being promised money from the NHL

Connor McDavid is the best hockey player on thd planet today, as such, it was really no surprise when he won the skills competition at Allstar weekend in Toronto. In fact, is was almost expected he would take it home. As a result of winning the skills competition, McDavid also took home 1 million dollars in prize money, or, at least he was supposed to.
According to ESPN, McDavid has admitted that he still hasn't been paid for his win at the skills competition something that you would've thought happened the night of, if not very soon after; take a look.
Connor McDavid says he hasn't received the $1million he won at the skills competition and when he does, he wants to take care of the trainers in Edmonton.

Being the good guy McDavid is, he's detailed what he's going to do with his winnings when he receives them, but this isn't exactly the best look for the National Hockey League, especially given how affluent the league seems to be as a whole.
The good thing about this is McDavid seems to be unbothered and has said that he will take care of the Edmonton Oilers training staff.
This seems to be another thing that the league seems to be lagging behind on.
