John Tortorella gets himself ejected after being embarrassed by his team
John Tortorella is easily one of the most passionate coaches in the entire National Hockey League. One thing you could never accuse him of is not caring. Sometimes that level of care goes just a little too far and tonight was one of those nights.
Less than 12 minutes into tonight's game with his team, trailing 4 to 0 already, Tortorella lost his cool. The target of his rage immediately became the game's officials and Tortorella found himself ejected in just the first.
After initially refusing to leave the bench cooler heads eventually prevailed and he went to the locker room on his own terms. It is very likely that Tortorella will face a massive crime from the league for his actions.
