The Vegas Golden Knights played the Nashville Predators last night, coming out on the losing end of a 5-3 score. The score wasn't the only that hurt if you're a Golden Knights fan though.

Today, Golden Knights general manager Kelly McCrimmon announced that captain Mark Stone would miss significant time after leaving the game last night with an injury; take a look.
#VegasBorn GM Kelly McCrimmon said today that Mark Stone will be «out for awhile» following an injury sustained last night against #Preds.

This means Stone is likely headed to Long-Term Injured Reserve a day after Jack Eichel hit LTIR.
One has to wonder if Vegas is using LTIR to circumvent the cap to be able to add at the Trade Deadline on March 8th, given they'll get quite a large sum in cap relief.
Of course, with Stone's injury history in particular, you never know. The good part in all of this, the injury does not appear to be to Stone's back.
Kelly McCrimmon said Mark Stone will be "out a while."

Still working to confirm, but my sources are saying it's NOT his back.

We'll have to wait and see how this plays out, but if both player are ready for game 1 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, it'll be quite suspicious.
