Paul Bissonnette tells Pat Maroon that Ryan Reaves will dummy him
The hotly anticipated first round series between the Toronto Maple Leafs and Boston Bruins heats up as Paul Bissonnette tells Pat Maroon Ryan Reaves is ready to go.
The first round series of the 2024 NHL Stanley Cup playoffs between the Toronto Maple Leafs and Boston Bruins gets underway Saturday night, and there will no doubt be plenty of eyes glued to their screens when it gets underway. Former NHLer and now analyst/podcaster/personality Paul Bissonnette wants the Bruins Pat Maroon to know he's in for a world of hurt.
With both Maroon and Bissonnette on the Pat McAfee show, Biznasty told Maroon Leafs tough guy Ryan Reaves is going to dummy him.
Asked why he thought Bissonnette would say that, Maroon said there are a couple of reasons.
Reaves and Bissonnette dropped the gloves at least twice in the NHL; once in 2011 and once in 2013. Bissonnette was with the Arizona Coyotes both times, while Reaves was with the St. Louis Blues. If you look up the videos, I'd put them at one win each. Maroon and Reaves have also tangled before, and I'm sure they will again before the first round series between the Boston Bruins and Toronto Maple Leafs ends.
Saturday night will be a big game for both team as they look to set the tone for the series. Neither will say which goalie will be starting between the pipes.
