After coming up short in Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals the Edmonton Oilers continue to refresh their roster. After making moves in free agency, the Oilers have made a trade to clear some money off their cap.
Elliotte Friedman revealed that the Oilers have officially traded forward Ryan McLeod to the Buffalo Sabres.
Ryan McLeod and Ty Tullio traded to Buffalo for Matt Savoie (9th overall pick in 2022). First to report @FriedgeHNIC
Last season McLeod played 81 games and scored 12 goals and 18 assists. This is a huge get for the Oilers acquiring former 9th overall pick and adding to their very talented forward group.
