The Nashville Predators home, Bridgestone Arena, has had an unfortunate event happen that is potentially going to require a reschedule of Friday's game between the Predators and the Avalanche.

A water main, which is feeding water to the arena has burst, causing some flooding in the arena.

The Predators released the following statement:

Bridgestone Arena is experiencing flooding today due to a wain main break close to the arena. We are currently assessing the situation to make determinations about this afternoon's contest and the college hockey game scheduled for this evening.

Assessment of the work needed to repair the issue is ongoing. Friday is a big day for Bridgestone Arena as they are set to host 2 hockey games on the same day. The Nashville Predators are set to face off against the Colorado Avalanche at 2 PM and the Music City Hockey Classic, which would feature the Northeastern University Huskies against the Western Michigan University Broncos later at night.

Update: The game has been officially postponed.
