Tragedy strikes as international hockey star passes away at 32

Some very sad news has hit the hockey world, as a former KHL star who played for Dynamo Moskva and SKA St Petersburg passed away at just 32 years old.

It is always horrible when a young person loses their life, regardless of what age they might be. But especially so when they are 32 years old.
This is what happened to Russian hockey star Artyom Fyodorov, who reported died at the age of 32 this past week.
It is horrible news for the hockey world, as Fyodorov was a bright young man who has shown himself to be an amazing player.

Artyom Fyodorov passes away

Courtesy of Hockey Worldwide, we have lots of great information about Fyodorov and his career, which most spanned in the KHL.
Fyodorov scored 169 (66+103) points in 376 games in the KHL with Dynamo Moskva 🇷🇺, Salavat Yulaev Ufa 🇷🇺, Spartak Moskva 🇷🇺, SKA St. Petersburg 🇷🇺, and HK Sochi 🇷🇺 from 2015-2023.

He won gold medals with Russia 🇷🇺 at the 2012 IIHF U20 Challenge Cup of Asia and the 2015 FISU Winter University Games.
At this time, there is no information on how Fyodorov passed away, although we're sure more details will be revealed soon.
This is a tragedy for the hockey world, and our heart goes out to Fyodorov and his family during this extremely difficult time.
We hope everyone involved is able to get as much support as possible over the coming days, weeks, and months.
We extend that setiment to the forward's teammates who had an emotional bond through hockey.
