Mitch Marner does with Team Canada what he could never do with the Maple Leafs

Mitch Marner had been a bit of a bust for Team Canada at the Winter Olympics, especially throughout 60 minutes against Team Czechia.

In the end, the game went to overtime, and Canada was certainly worried about how this one was going to go.

However, Mitch Marner did something he struggled to do with the Leafs. That was to score a clutch overtime goal to win a big game.

Marner skated right in without a care in the world and then backhanded the puck past the Czech netminder. It was sensational, and fans are stunned.

The Toronto Maple Leafs never got this kind of clutch play from Marner, and there is no denying that this had an effect on the fanbase.

Now, seeing Marner go off for Canada at the Olympics is certainly going to bring about some bad feelings that won't wear off anytime soon.

With this big win, Team Canada is going to play against either Finland or Switzerland in the semi-finals, which is good for Canada.

Right now, Finland is down 2-0 to the Swiss, which means we are officially on upset alert, which will delight all of the Canadian fans out there.
