The Arizona Coyotes have one more game to go in the 2023-24 regular season and it happens to be at Mullett Arena on Wednesday night, which will mark the final NHL contest in the state for at least the next half-decade.
Arizona is set to take on Connor McDavid, Leon Draisaitl and the Edmonton Oilers on Wednesday night and their fans travel well, especially to Coyotes games in the past. But for Wednesday night, Coyotes fans are wanting Oilers fans to join in on their send-off to Arizona before they relocate to Salt Lake City.
In a post on Reddit, an Arizona fan, u/so1roflcopt3r, pleaded with Oilers fans to join in on their whiteout on Wednesday night as they say goodbye to the Coyotes.
This would be a nice gesture from Oilers fans in attendance to join in on the send off, given it's going to be an emotional night for Coyotes fans and hockey fans in the state of Arizona, who are losing their team.
Fans who aren't able to attend the game in-person will be able to watch live on Sportsnet across Canada starting at 10 p.m. ET for the final contest in Coyotes' history in Arizona. Following this game, on either Thursday or Friday, the NHL is expected to announce the team's move to Salt Lake City, Utah.
