Brad Marchand Chirps Opponent As Things Get Heated In Senators vs. Panthers Clash

The Ottawa Senators and Florida Panthers are both bound for the Stanley Cup Playoffs in 2025, and while we may not see them go head-to-head, if they do, it's safe to say that things could get very heated.

That's what we saw on Saturday as the two teams did battle, and late in the game with Ottawa holding a 3-0 lead, things got very heated between the two Atlantic Division rivals.

With a scuffle happening near the benches, it was safe to assume that Brad Marchand wasn't going to be too far from the action, and now, a video has revealed the former Boston Bruins captain giving out a major chirp.

It's unclear exactly which Ottawa Senators player he was targeting with his words, but this should come as no shock to anyone, as he's never been one to shy away from roasting an opponent, even in the heat of battle.

However, it was the Senators that got the last laugh in this one as they walked away winners 3-0, and with the Panthers faltering as of late, it's safe to say that they aren't the overwhelming favourite in the Eastern Conference anymore.

Brad Marchand however was an incredible addition for Florida, and without Matthew Tkachuk in the lineup, the team are missing significant fire power, and if they can get him back to 100% ahead of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, this team shouldn't be overlooked to make their way to their third straight Stanley Cup Finals in 2025.
