Alexander Georgiev Desperately Needs To Bounce Back With The Buffalo Sabres
The 29-year old goaltender will need to prove to the Sabres that he's worth the risk as he after he split the 2024-25 season with the Colorado Avalanche and the San Jose Sharks. Where he only managed to finish the year with a 15-26-4 record, 3.71 goals-against average and .875 save percentage.
Given his age and experience, i can totally see Georgiev turning things around and return to his true form with the Sabres, given the fact that there isn't a ton of pressure surrounding the organization, like there was with the Avalanche due to the fact that the are a true Stanley Cup contending team.
Georgiev has played 303 career games over the last eight seasons with the New York Rangers, Colorado Avalanche and the San Jose Sharks, so a calmer enviornment could do some justice to re-spark his career.
