On a recent podcast appearance General Manager Pierre Dorion shared that Giroux thinks changing this one thing will help the Sens make the playoffs.Giroux going to his general manager to ease up on the dress code is understandable, but believing it will help you make the playoffs is insane. I don't think that's the reason they haven't won anything.
Whatever happened to players in the National Hockey League holding themselves to a higher standard? I'm of the mind that the relaxation of these rules are partly why players aren't taking the game so seriously.
With an attitude like that, it's no wonder why Giroux and the Senators haven't won anything.
