Brandon Montour signs with the Seattle Kraken
Defender Brandon Montour is leaving the Florida Panthers right after the parade yesterday and has singed in the western conference.
You knew right after the Florida Panthers won the Stanley Cup that some of their team was going to be deconstructed and it appears that Brandon Montour has left the organization to sign in the western conference.
According to Kevin Weekes, Montour has signed with the Seattle Kraken, the deal is seven years with an average annual value of $7 million.
**Breaking News** I'm told D Montour has signed with

Brandon Montour, 30, has spent parts of the last four seasons with the Florida Panthers after being dealt by the Buffalo Sabres. While he may have taken a big step back in terms of point production this season, Montour's overall game was strong, playing well on both sides of the puck. In 66 games, he put up 33 points (eight goals, 25 assists), 46 penalty minutes and was a plus-one. He then went on to add 11 points in 22 playoff games, winning the first Stanley Cup of his career with the Florida Panthers.
Montour will certainly help out the back end of the Kraken.
