Auston Matthews runs over Derek Lalonde in wild viral clip coming out of Maple Leafs practice

Toronto Maple Leafs captain Auston Matthews was practicing hard early this week, although assistant head coach Derek Lalonde ended up feeling his wrath.
Auston Matthews had himself a decent game on Tuesday night as he finished with one assist in a 5-1 win against the Florida Panthers.
This was a win that certainly puts the Leafs on the right track to eventually getting into a playoff spot. While they do have the Carolina Hurricanes coming up, fans should be encouraged by the offensive explosion as of late.
Speaking of explosions, Matthews found himself on the bad end of a bodily explosion during a practice earlier in the week, as the team touched down in Florida.

During the same practice in which Craig Berube got run over by Jake McCabe, Auston Matthews ended up trucking assistant coach Derek Lalonde.
The collision was actually pretty funny as Matthews found himself trying to break the zone when the coach got in his way. Lalonde fell over, where he flopped in jest for a few seconds.
Matthews immediately went to help his coach, and everything returned to normal from there. It was yet another hilarious moment that broke some of the tension.
Maple Leafs defeat the Florida Panthers
Speaking of the Leafs and Panthers game, it was all-out domination from start to finish for the Maple Leafs, who ended up winning the game by a score of 5-1.
They scored on their first shot of the game, and from there, it was off to the races. They got scoring from guys like Troy Stecher and Dakota Joshua, which just goes to show the dominance that was at play.
Joseph Woll stopped 25 out of 26 shots, proving once again why he is one of the best goalies in the league when his teammates actually help him out.
With the loss, the Florida Panthers are now last in the Atlantic Division, and with injuries piling up, there is no telling if this team will get it together.
