Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Craig Berube spoke to the media on Thursday night about Oliver Ekman-Larsson, and his injury against the San Jose Sharks.

Oliver Ekman-Larsson is a player who has been huge for the Toronto Maple Leafs this season. He has 20 points in 30 games and continues to hold down the fort defensively.
Unfortunately, it appears as though Ekman-Larsson is being set up to miss some time as well, and we know this because of an injury that occurred against the San Jose Sharks.

What happened to Oliver Ekman-Larsson?

As you can see in the video below, OEL fell along the boards, and he did so in a very awkward way, which saw his knee completely buckle.
Following the scary fall, Ekman-Larsson had to be helped off the ice, and for Maple Leafs fans, this was the worst sight possible, as OEL remains an integral piece of the team's puzzle.
After the game, Maple Leafs head coach Craig Berube spoke to the media, where he was extremely honest about what went down and where Ekman-Larsson is.
He will have to be evaluated on Friday, and from there, the team will make a decision on what they are going to do next. Regardless, this is just bad news.
If you are a Toronto Maple Leafs fan, you can't help but feel like these injuries are the worst-case scenario, given the fact that the team needs to start winning games.
What's more is that the Leafs lost to the San Jose Sharks in overtime on Thursday night, which ultimately took a point away from the team when they needed it most.
Only time will tell whether or not the Maple Leafs are going to recover from here on out. For now, fans can only hope that Ekman-Larsson's injury isn't that serious.
