On Thursday night, the Toronto Maple Leafs will play the Carolina Hurricanes, and Craig Berube is making a big statement going into the game.
The Toronto Maple Leafs have won two games in a row, and for the first time in a long time, it actually feels like the Maple Leafs are in a position to do some real damage.
A 7-2 win against the Pittsburgh Penguins and a 5-1 win against the Florida Panthers are cause to celebrate. The Leafs are finally scoring goals, and the lineup is coming together.
While they are still dealing with some injuries on their blue line, their forwards are fully healthy, and it has led to cohesion that we didn't see to start the year.
Even Scott Laughton had a goal last night, which just goes to show that all is not lost for this Toronto Maple Leafs team.

On Thursday, the Leafs will take on the Carolina Hurricanes, and many have wondered if the Leafs or head coach Craig Berube will change anything.
As it turns out, no changes are expected to be made. The lineup will be identical to what we saw on Tuesday night.

Matias Maccelli and Calle Jarnkrok are going to be healthy scratches again, which is not good for these forwards.
Meanwhile, Auston Matthews, Matthew Knies, and Max Domi will be on the first line, with Easton Cowan going on the second line with William Nylander and John Tavares.
Rounding out the forward lines will be Dakota Joshua, Nicolas Roy, and Bobby McMann, with Nick Robertson, Scott Laughton, and Steven Lorentz rounding things out.
