Toronto Maple Leafs forward Max Domi has been struggling this season, and it appears as though general manager Brad Treliving is looking to make a decision.
Max Domi has not been having an amazing season, as the forward has just 11 points in 29 games, including three goals. Once again, he is on track for fewer than 10 goals, which is just awful.
The Maple Leafs have only hit Domi with one healthy scratch this season, although some fans would argue that more scratches are long overdue.
Whatever the case may be, Domi is not living up to his contract right now, and there is an argument to be made that the Leafs should just trade him.
It has been reported that the Maple Leafs are working the phones, and now, a new report is proving that Domi is on general manager Brad Treliving's mind.
Max Domi could be done in Toronto
According to David Pagnotta, the Maple Leafs have considered trading guys like Max Domi, as well as forward Matias Maccelli.
Meanwhile, the Leafs are interested in potentially trading for a forward like Mason Marchment, who currently plays for the Seattle Kraken.
The Toronto Maple Leafs are in a position where they need to improve in order to get themselves into a playoff spot in the Atlantic Division.
Tonight, the Leafs got blown out by the Edmonton Oilers, which just proves that they are not ready to play against Stanley Cup contenders.
Needless to say, if Max Domi doesn't start producing, his time with the Leafs will eventually come to an unceremonious end, and it will be deserved.
The entire team is under scrutiny right now, and the only thing that will keep this team together is some wins.
