Joseph Woll's return to the Maple Leafs receives immense praise from Jake McCabe

Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender Joseph Woll made his return to the team on Saturday night, and while they lost to the Chicago Blackhawks, there were some positives.
Last night, Joseph Woll played his first game with the Toronto Maple Leafs this season, and he ended up turning aside 29 of 32 shots.
However, it was not good enough to win. Instead, the Leafs lost to the Chicago Blackhawks by a score of 3-2, making this a fifth straight loss.
Woll's performance was the one silver lining in this game, and fans are pointing it out. In fact, Woll was arguably better than anything Anthony Stolarz has done this season.

If you are a Toronto Maple Leafs fan, the team's losses should be a concern, but at the same time, Woll's teammates are using this as a positive.
One of those people is none other than Jake McCabe, who had all sorts of positive things to say about Joseph Woll after the game.
He did a phenomenal job. I just told him that. Super good seeing him back in there & grinding & battling. He was composed all night ... so that gives me a lot of joy just seeing him do his thing out there. It was awesome.
The Toronto Maple Leafs are in need of a win, and they will be leaning on Woll to steal some wins over the coming stretch of hockey.
If the Maple Leafs can't get themselves a win, then there are going to be a lot of angry fans out there. Losing more games is simply not going to be accepted.
As it stands, the Leafs have a record of 8-9-2 and are in seventh place in the Atlantic Division, which is simply not good enough right now.
Only time will tell whether or not the Maple Leafs can turn things around and find themselves back in the playoff conversation.
