Toronto Maple Leafs defenseman Morgan Rielly scored a goal on Saturday night, although it was not enough to overcome the Chicago Blackhawks.

The Toronto Maple Leafs lost yet another game on Saturday, this time against the Chicago Blackhawks, who had a similar record to the Leafs.
Now, the Leafs have lost five in a row, and their record is 8-9-2, which is good enough for seventh in the Atlantic Division. Needless to say, it's been a disastrous start to the season.
Having said that, there were some positives last night. The Leafs had the lead late in the game, and they even got a goal from defenseman Morgan Rielly.

Morgan Rielly speaks on the Toronto Maple Leafs losing streak

While speaking to the media after the game, Morgan Rielly spoke about the Leafs' issues, although he offered some positivity.
Rielly claims there is a lot of belief in the locker room right now, and that no one is panicking. Instead, everyone is keeping things light.
Whenever you're in something that's challenging, it's all-consuming.... But there's a lot of belief with our team, and that's powerful.
This is great, but it only matters if the Maple Leafs start winning games. On Tuesday, they will play the St. Louis Blues, and it is a must-win.
The Leafs cannot afford to lose more games right now. If they make it six in a row, then you have to wonder if the Leafs are going to make an organizational change.
At the end of the day, the Maple Leafs have the roster to make the playoffs. Unfortunately, they just aren't putting it all together right now.
Only time will tell whether or not this team can truly turn things around and have a season to remember.
