Toronto Maple Leafs general manager Brad Treliving has to make a trade soon, and there has been lots of chatter about which players are on the trading block.

The Toronto Maple Leafs are in a tough position right now, and it is hard to imagine a world in which they get out of it without making a drastic change.
At this stage, the lineup just isn't good enough, and general manager Brad Treliving is being expected to do something about it.
There have been numerous trade rumors going around. The Leafs continue to be linked to forwards and puck-moving defenseman. However, nothing concrete is in the works.
Meanwhile, it has been rumored that guys like Max Domi and Brandon Carlo are on the trading block, which is not something that fans expected at the start of the year.

Who are the Toronto Maple Leafs trading?

According to a new report from Chris Johnston, it would appear as though the Toronto Maple Leafs are putting everyone on the trading block, except for their superstars.
With that in mind, it seems like Auston Matthews, William Nylander, and John Tavares are the only ones who are safe from being dealt.
The Leafs aren't at a point where they're shopping superstars, but every player below that tier on the roster could be considered available if the right trade came along
Given the team's 10-10-3 record, this is probably for the best. Everyone needs to know that they are at risk of being sent packing if they don't get it together.
These are not easy decisions to make, although this is exactly why Treliving gets paid the big bucks. The team expects him to make choices other GMs won't.
It will be fascinating to see what the Leafs decide going forward, and if big-name players end up on the move, then Treliving will cement himself as a bold GM.
