Toronto Maple Leafs forward William Nylander has been dealing with a groin injury, and fans have been waiting to see what's next for the forward.
The Toronto Maple Leafs are in a bad spot right now, as the team has lost its last six games and can't seem to get anything going offensively.
They lost to the Seattle Kraken on Thursday and are now 10 points back of a playoff spot, which is pretty embarrassing for this team.
With William Nylander out of the lineup, the team is desperate for some good news involving the winger. As it turns out, they are getting just that.
Is William Nylander playing against the Canucks?
Today, the Maple Leafs were in Vancouver ahead of their Saturday night matchup against the Vancouver Canucks.
The team was practicing, and William Nylander just so happened to be on the ice with the second line. Based on Nylander's own comments, he will be in the lineup.
Nylander will be on the second line with John Tavares and Matias Maccelli. Meanwhile, the first line is Max Domi, Auston Matthews, and Bobby McMann.
Interestingly enough, Easton Cowan is going to be coming out of the lineup, with Matthew Knies going down to the third line.

Tomorrow night's game against the Canucks is crucial for the Leafs. They need to win, and if they don't, then they can kiss these playoffs goodbye.
Having said that, there is certainly a chance that William Nylander is able to save the day. If he can't, fans will be devastated.
