Toronto Maple Leafs Unveil Underwhelming Lineup for Preseason Game Against the Montreal Canadiens
The NHL preseason marches on tonight, with the Toronto Maple Leafs looking to showcase some of their young talent against the Montreal Canadiens.
Tonight should be a whole lot of fun for all of the Toronto Maple Leafs fans out there as the team is set to take on their biggest rival, the Montreal Canadiens.
This is the team's third preseason game. On Sunday, they defeated the Ottawa Senators with a depleted lineup, only to lose to the Senators with an NHL lineup.
Tonight, the Leafs are switching things up, as we will get to see a mixture of NHL guys, as well as some fringe youngsters who are likely to play with the Toronto Marlies this season.
Toronto Maple Leafs unveil tonight's lineup
Below, you can see that the top line is going to consist of Steven Lorentz, Scott Laughton, and none other than Easton Cowan.
Matias Maccelli will share a line with David Kampf and Bobby McMann, while Jacob Quillan center Lettieri and Dakota Joshua. Pezzetta, Groulx, and Tverberg make up the fourth line.
On defense, Dakota Mermis, Philippe Myers, Marshall Rifai, and Henry Thrun will all make their way into the lineup. Dennis Hildeby will be the starter.
