Yet Another Toronto Maple Leafs Prospect is Having a Blistering Start to the Season

Toronto Maple Leafs prospect Harry Nansi was a fifth-round pick in 2025, and now that he's back with the Owen Sound Attack, he's doing big things.
This past year, the Toronto Maple Leafs had an interesting draft class, with very few early-round picks. Instead, they had to stock up on guys in the fifth, sixth, and seventh rounds.
Their fifth-round pick was Harry Nansi of the Owen Sound Attack, an 18-year-old forward who only had 23 points in 67 games last season.
At 6'3", he was seen as someone the Leafs would have to wait and see about. After all, development is a long process, and not something that happens overnight.

Having said that, in just 17 games this season, Nansi has already reached his point totals from last season. With six goals and 17 assists, he sits at 23 points.
He has been a revelation for this Owen Sound Attack team, and even won OHL Player of the Week after scoring nine points in three games.
This is a phenomenal showing, and it proves that guys can turn the corner quickly. Whether or not this is sustainable still remains to be seen.
It will probably take a few years before we ever get to see Nansi play a preseason game for the Toronto Maple Leafs.
However, that is not necessarily a bad thing. He is in the Maple Leafs system, and the team can continue to monitor his progress going forward.
Only time will tell what becomes of Nansi, who is going to be on the radar for the Leafs for years to come.
The future is bright for the team, and these prospects could really bring forth a new era.
